N3120 as modem...

Hi... this is my 1st post... & its a question....

i have just a single question about running the N3120 phone as a modem with DKU-2

here is the page... but its not clear that whether the ph will work as a modem & will work with DKU-2..... if it can run as a modem with DKU-2 then where can i find the proper driver for the device.....

No i dont think u can use the dku-2 cable for ur 3120.. i have a 6630 which came with a dku-2 cable and my mom has a nokia 3120... i tried it out.. it doesnt work and moreover the cable gets damaged.. so dont try it out.. becoz my phone and the cable was under warranty i got the cable replaced...

yaar pls try the i gave u..... its says N3120 does support PC conectiviity with DKU-2.... but doesnt says that can it be config to work as modem....

but for practical use u might have better exparience.....

OK i take ur word... that N3120 doesnt support DKU-2.... now tell me can it be config as a modem with DKU-5?? & how much a DKU-5 will cost me (original & gray) in kolkata....

yaar my main question is can it be config as a modem to give a PC internet access.... pls do reply....

Yes, You can config ur 3120 as a modem to give ur PC internet access..

the original one will cost u around Rs 800+ and the grey market cable will cost u around Rs 200...

PS:- Please keep posting regularly in the forums..
